The school is situated in Centane at Ngqusi A/A, in the boundary of Sintsana and Nkente A/A. Nearby the school is Ngqusi Clinic and Tribal Authority.

The school was the brainchild of Chief Hlokomile Dondashe who saw a need to establish a school to cater for various administrative areas. The school has nine (9) feeder school and other learners come far and wide because of the good academic performance.

Since its established the school has grown from a three (3) educator school to twenty-one (21) educator school in 1996. The school is in deep rural areas.

B. Administration
• The school was opened by the late Mr. Myataza in 1973, the mud structure burnt down during the 1976 uprisings and the learners had to study outside under the trees.
• The next principal had to relocate to Mrs. Tsoliwe abandoned flats.
• The present structure was built in 1978 and first occupied in June 1979

• The school has been in ups and down but has never ever performed less than provincial average since 1979.
• The school could have produced more better results if it had necessary resources.
• The school is in quantile one (1) which shows that it is a very poor or disadvantaged school.
• This has been proved in the introduction if NCS in 2008 when results unbelievable plumented to an all-time low.
• This is attributed to the fact that new curriculum is more practical and needs more resources in a population of people who do not read newspapers let alone magazines and internet. We therefore hope that our strategies will improve the results as years progress.
C. Extra – curriculum : –
• The school participated in sport and music. The school has awards for participation in rugby and most common sport is soccer and netball.
